Running Club News 13/8/18

Monday 13th August 2018

New routes this evening, and we encouraged everyone to do the 6mile route. However, as you can see below, we all only managed 5.3miles after I took a wrong turn and everyone followed. Still, it was a good social run at a good pace again. Carl is feeling good with his fastest run for 2 months, and Sarah had a good run after tweaking her hamstring running last week. Charles is Mr. Consistent at the moment, even with the new routes, running at 10mins per mile for the 2nd week in a row. Well done!!

I am not sure if I mentioned to the runners this evening, but I have run 20miles in 2 days. This is preparation for the New York Marathon on November 4th this year. The training is going well and you can keep track of how we are doing at http://alsnyc.blogspot.com/  Of course, all donations are very welcome via the site as well.

As for the running club, same routes next week team!!
