
Seven weeks ago I began training with Mark with two key aims. One was to try and prevent me falling over so much and secondly if I did fall over that I could get back up again. After some previous surgeries I had weakness and instability particularly on my left side. Putting on a substantial amount of weight through menopause and lack of activity has also been a key issue for me. My sessions with Mark have led to a new found confidence in my growing abilities I have not fallen since starting and no longer use my stick for walks and balance. Some of my daily activities are now so much easier, such as climbing stairs and standing without holding something to steady me. I have just returned from a break in Malta and was able to walk the many many steps and hills and do so much walking that I couldn’t have dreamt of doing at the end of the summer and can’t quite believe the progress I have made in such a short time. Mark’s sessions are always achievable, invigorating and make me feel empowered and inspired to keep the exercises going at home. It is such a friendly place that I look forward to my sessions and know that I will continue to make progress under Mark’s guidance. I now have wider horizons with my whole health outlook including losing more weight and greater fitness goals. Thank you Mark I am loving the journey!
