Apologies for the lack of a Running Club Blog in recent weeks.
I aim to start a fresh with the blog from this January.
As you are all aware, the club runs (excuse the pun) on a 3 week cycle –
Week 1 – You are introduced to a new route and practice the course (often getting lost)
Week 2 – You are familiar with the route and try to improve on the previous weeks time
Week 3 – You go all out to try and acheive a PB on this route
The following week, hopefully you will aim for a route which is a bit further thus improving your speed and distance as you run with the club.
With this in mind, I will be compiling the blog on a 3 weekly basis, to show how much individuals have improved over the 3 weeks etc.
We start tomorrow with the Friday running club, 9.30am start at ENJOY. Here are the routes for the 1st three weeks, there are 4 to chose from –
