Well done to all the runners at last nights Warsash based running club. We started a new set of routes last night and it was great to see some faces back from a break. Nick C, was back from a couple of months away and he produced his quickest time with the running club with an 8m16s average mile speed across the long hilly 5.6m route. He was aided in a competitive trio which included Ashley and Pete. The sprint finish was entertaining and helped Ashley to his quickest average time of 8m 14s per mile. Petes sprint finish left him just behind with an average of 8m15s.
It was good to see Liam back to the running club as well and he put in the quickest time of the night and a course record of just 28m 50s over 3.1miles. Good to see you back Liam! Harry added a little extra on to his run by missing a turn but still put in a great time over an estimated 3.3miles. Julie also had a very enjoyable run on the 3.1m circuit, finishing the course with lots of energy left, faster or longer next week Julie!
In the middle 4.0mile distance Nick and Paul showed they are still improving with excellent speeds and seemed to enjoy this new route! I expect some PBs from these two over the next 2 weeks on this route.
