A big welcome back to Ali and Kate this week. Ali has returned after 3 weeks holiday and looked as though she hadn’t been away. She completed the 4mile route comfortably in an average of just 9m20s approx. It is approx as neither of the girls had timers and I couldn’t keep up with them!! Kate also had a great run following resting her leg injury. A great first run back with an average of about 10mins per mile. Completing the group running the 4mile route was Greg. He has come a long way in 4 weeks and today he completed the 4mile circuit in his quickest average of just 10m 31s per mile, a massive 1m 04s quicker per mile than last week!! A fantastic improvement!
Running the longer 5.3m route was Sandy and Alistair. Alistair flew round, he was floating like a butterfly but got stung by a bee! I am sure he will “bee” more careful not to get stung next time, it didn’t do him any harm though as he completed the route 43seconds per mile quicker than last week, a huge improvement. Well done to Sandy as well who helped motivate Alistair round the route!
Next week is the start of the Great South Run Preparation. You can check out the schedule now at http://nltraining.co.uk/great-south-run-preparation-2013/
