The cold weather didn’t put everyone off this evening, although the turn out was slightly depleted for the enjoyable, yet chilly run.
The cold weather certainly made the runners go faster as nearly all the runners improved on last weeks times. Mike had the biggest improvement, encouraged along by Kyle and Mark, Mike took a massive 5 minutes off his overall time and averaged just 8m 31s per mile, only just outside his PB! Ali and Kate ran together again and beat last weeks times, but are still just outside their PBs from a few weeks ago. If Kate stops delivering letters on her way round I am sure you will both beat your PBs next week on the last attempt on this route. Charles had another great run as well and was exactly 3minutes per mile quicker than from his 1st run with the running club several months ago. Great progression Charles well done!!
