A damp evening in Warsash this evening but the rain stayed away for the run. Before the analysis of the evening special recognition for Tori, our first New Life Training runner to complete the London Marathon. She did it in style as well in an amazing 5h30m32s!! Well done Tori!!!
On to this evening and it was pleasing to see a few people returning to the club. Suz and Annie have been away for a while but returned for good runs tonight. Suz has been recovering from a leg injury but looks to have shaken it off with a great run (her second of the day!) in a great average time of 8m39s per mile, just outside her PB. Annie was back from a break as well and also had a great run averaging 11m52s per mile. Welcome to 1st timer Becky, who came along with Marnie, last weeks debutant, both had great runs with Becky completing her first run in an average of 12m16s and Marnie beating last weeks average to setting her new PB!
Out front Pete had a fast run this evening setting a course record with an average 7m32s. Ann, Kyle and Tom chose the long route and completed it in good averages. Finally, Paul N has shown another weeks improvement shaving 2seconds per mile off his previous personal best average. Well done Paul.
Next week is the last chance on these routes. In the meantime please let me know if you are running the Marwell 10k in May and if you would like to have a pub lunch afterwards.
