A quiet turn out this evening for the running club which was a shame as it was a fantastic run. Perfect conditions with a lovely route along the river Hamble and up through Universal Marina.
The course record was broken this evening as well as Pete had a storming run, beating his last weeks time by seven and a half minutes. Nick held the course record from last week but wasn’t here this evening. You will have to come back next week Nick to reclaim the course record!
Charles, Ali and Kate also had a good run this evening. It was Kates first run for 3 weeks and she did fantastic on the longer route. Crableck Lane just beat the 3 of them again though, even with the addition of energy sweets half way round (thanks Charles) they couldn’t quite get to the top without a little walking. Next week is the same route for the last time and the final chance to defeat the hill!!!
