Running Club News 11/4/11
Another superb turnout for this evenings beginners Running Club in Warsash. They all completed the same route as last week with the simple task of beating their time from the previous week. There were some fast pace setters in the group this week and that really helped as every individual clocked a personal best on the 3.3mile route (See below). Well done to all of you but in particular, Kath who was 4m39s faster than last week, thats 1.3 minutes faster per mile!!! A great improvement in speed across the course Kath! Also well done to Brian (the new trainers worked!) as he finished 3.38minutes faster than last week and to Jo who was in the leading pack from the start and finished 3mins 12secs faster than last week. Well done guys!

The intermediates also had a good turn out with Danae giving the boys a run for their money in her first run with the running club finishing just behind Bruce with a brilliant time of 42.55 a great speed of 9.45minutes per mile!!! Unfortunately a few minor muscle pulls caused the rest of the pack to pull up short of the finish. I hope everyone will be fully recovered for next weeks run!
