The damp bank holiday weather put people off this evening and they missed out on the fast flat-ish route where PBs are very achievable. For those who ran this evening they were all very close to new records. Greg had a great run last week and continues to improve for the 5th consecutive run as he took 41seconds off his time on the same course last week, well done Greg. Out front Sue and Alistair were competing for 1st place. Alistair was out front and determined not to let Sue pass. They finished just 10seconds apart with Alistair taking 48seconds off last weeks time and he edged closer to his elusive record of 8m 46s per mile. For Sue, she edged closer to her PB by another second per mile from her last run. She is just 3 seconds from her PB now. Next week is the last time on this route and an ideal time to set some records!!
