The start of British Summer time was celebrated. with a 10k run this evening in the glorious sunshine! It was still too cold for some, so only 5 of the bravest set off at 6.30pm. It was another tough route, with several hills including Shore Road right at the end! The times were impressive though!! Out front Jack was incredibly fast, he was being a little unsociable though as Mark chased him….. every-time Mark had nearly caught up Jack put his foot on the gas and extended his lead. Personal Trainer Mark was fairly beaten by 1m 11s as youth told! Sandy was next putting in a fantastic finish to fend off the advancement of Bruce up Shore Road. Bruce too had a quick average of just 9m 15s per mile, highlighting just how fast the team ran this evening. Charles also put in a fantastic performance with a non-stop run in just over the hour!
Well done to all this evenings runners – very enjoyable!!
