SPECIAL PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGE
New Life Training have a superb track record of training people up for running events. Successes in the Great South Run over the last 3 years and the London Marathon last year have shown that a detailed training plan can prove very successful, whether it is just to complete the distance or to achieve a personal best time. With this in mind New Life Training have put together an 8 week Personal Training run preparation course for just £300. This has worked for several people in the lead up to this years Great South Run and London Marathon and so has been expanded to allow people to increase their running endurance and/or speed on an 8 week course.
The course includes –
· Understanding your heart rate zones and how they can help you improve performance
· Plyometric training to increase speed, strength and power in your legs
· Training the energy systems in your body that will make a difference in your running
· PNF stretching after each session to ensure your flexibility increases and reduce the risk of injury
· Structured and reviewed homework provided to ensure you progress is on tracking

It works….but dont take my word for it –
“I recently foolishly signed up to run in the Great South Run. I have run for some time but had become set in a fairly safe pattern of 5k runs at a steady pace. I felt that I needed a push to motivate me to complete this 10 mile run and wanted to prove to myself that I could complete it in a good time. Mark provided that motivation through a series of 8 personal training sessions that gave me the confidence to run faster and longer. Through a combination of workouts, running sessions, hill sprints, the Victory 10k race and a 10 mile training run around Lee-on-the-Solent, Mark encouraged me to extend my range and speed. I supplemented this with weekly runs to put what I learnt into practice. I completed the Great South Run in 80 minutes, averaging 8 minute miles. I am delighted with this result and would recommend Mark to anyone considering personal training as a way of kick starting them on their next fitness challenge.”
